Based in Sunnyvale, California, Scanadu is a consumer medical technology company developing next generation tests, devices, and services that empower anyone to monitor and better understand their own health – anytime, anywhere.
Scanadu is identifying the latest advances in the life sciences and applying its expertise in artificial intelligence, product design and user experience, hardware, software, clinical, and regulatory to bring to market ambitious and ground-breaking medical solutions for consumers.
Scanadu’s INUI device is a urine test kit designed for people to check for several health conditions by measuring the levels of chemicals in a urine sample. This consists of a disposable paddle that consumers use to dip in a urine sample, and results can be read and analyzed using the Scanadu app and the camera on a smartphone. It all happens in a minute, and the information is designed to be displayed, stored, and shared via the Scanadu app.
The project consisted of testing the application and providing review analysis and processes for complying with EU GDPR and the US HIPPA regulations.
What We Did
Designed and performed Test Protocols and plans for the Inui Health INUI. The testing was implemented with test automation for convenience, repeatability and speed.
