Project Description
Ascenso Healthcare was a multi-national startup devoted to remote health management. The Ascenso Healthcare system facilitated the collection, storage, and reporting of multi-parametric health data for a variety of purposes. These purposes included remote sleep studies, clinical trial subject monitoring, and monitoring of health in remote locations.
What We Did
- We designed and developed a family of devices using a similar core architecture. These devices allowed for remote, wireless, and multi-parametric health data monitoring and collection.
Along with this we designed and developed mobile and cloud-based software to facilitate the collection, storage, and reporting of the device data.
There were two main categories:
Fully Diagnostic Quality Devices — High Accuracy
- 24-bit true simultaneous sampling (set a new standard)
- Programmable gain and digital filtering (higher versatility)
Screening Devices — Low Cost of Ownership
- 12-bit multiplexed sampling (exceeds industry norms)
- Very long battery life (long duration ambulatory / home use)
